Marion
is in an assisted living facility. She did have some
health problems and fell several times when she first moved there, but seems
to be doing better now.
CHILDREN’S
MOMENT TRAINING AND
ORIENTATION
MEETING
Please
attend this training and orientation meeting on Sun., May 18, at 1 PM, in
the Parlor. This is for those who already
participate in Children’s Moment, and for those who would like to do them.
The meeting should last only about an hour.
Southwest
Child Care Services
As
a part of the land sale agreement between Southwest Child Care and Sombra
Del Monte, Southwest Child Care will provide free services to families of
SDMCC up to $20,000, to be used any time within the immediate 24 months
after the sale, which was at the end of April, 2008. In
addition, beyond the $20,000 in free services, Southwest Child Care will
give a 20% discount for up to ten church families within the immediate 24
months after the sale.

eligibility and approval.

A
JOY TO SHARE! Orville Payne’s son, Tim’s,
mother-in-law, Joyce, has been cleared of breast cancer.
Orville
Payne asks for
prayers for Bob Groh who lost his wife on April 28.
Lee
Hoff will get his
pacemaker put in on May 8.
John
Towne requested
continued prayers for friends Jim Ward and Dick Carlson, both of whom have
cancer. And for Frank Shearer who lost his wife
April 28.
June
Johnston will
be with her sister, Jackie, in Missouri.
Her sister’s husband, Sandy Smith, has been having fluid build-up
in his lungs.
Please
pray for Martha Parrish, Leon’s sister-in-law, who as been hospitalized in
Moberly, MO, with pneumonia and an infection in her lungs.
Ongoing
prayer concerns are for: Tami Curnow, Hope Holmes,
Jayne Grubbs, Bert and Charlotte Cole, and Patsy Miller.
